This week Mr Price launched its spiffy new online shop, www.mrp.co.za. I’ve always been a huge Mr Price fan and I’m super impressed with their new e-commerce website and online offering. I’m not a good shopper because I hate retail chaos, clothing bun-fights and rummaging through rails to find my size or a little gem hiding at the bottom of a pile. Let’s not even start on shoe shopping. Size 3. Enough said. So I’m a fan of shopping online, from the comfort of my own home, feet up with a cappuccino/cat/boyfriend at my side. I’m an even bigger fan of online stores that nail it from an experience and navigation point of view, and I think Mr Price has done just that. Shoppers can trawl their entire offering using brands, categories or trends to filter the search, subscribe to newsletters, connect socially, send gift vouchers, read the online magazine or blog, and the list goes on.
Delivery takes between 1 – 3 working days and shoppers pay a R35 delivery fee and can choose to take receipt of their parcel from home/office, the post office or any Mr Price store nationwide. Returns are easy too, simply pop it in the post or drop it back at any store. Easy peasy Japanesey.
Props MRP! Great to see South African brands like yourselves taking the online shopping leap and adding real value to the customer experience.
