This week Chappies embark on a new campaign, creating edible street art across South Africa. Artists will be travelling around the country installing the top facts from the recent Did You Know campaign, whereby consumers had the opportunity to submit their own did-you-knows. 50 000 facts were submitted via facebook and MXIT, the top 250 verified and the final 6 will be visually represented as edible street art. The top 250 facts will be printed and distributed across millions of Chappies wrappers nationwide. I love both of these campaigns for staying true to this iconic brand, simple, cost effective, fun. And what better way to say thank you to loyal fans than by creating art they can eat. I’m a little disappointed in the greediness you’ll see at the end of the animation of the Woodstock installation below. But hey, that’s humans for you.
