Pop Ya Colour

This year GAP invited me to join their global ambassador program STYLD.BY. It’s essentially a collective of bloggers, influencers, artists, photographers and stylists who create content for STYLD.BY, GAP’s lifestyle blog. The idea is to put together a few looks using a key piece, and this month’s theme is Spectrum of Colour and how to incorporate pops of colour into your wardrobe. I chose to feature the 1969 Destructed Sexy Boyfriend jeans which I am basically living in at the moment. The skinny brown braided belt is also from GAP. Here’s my first look, I’ve used bright red lips to inject a bit-o-colour into the look…

That’s my staple wardrobe; whites, blues and brown leather. I’m trying to be more adventurous with colour, especially using lipstick. It’s such an easy way to transform a look. My next edit is a little more on the sporty side. These are my favourite PUMA running shoes and I thought I’d let them see the light of day in a look that doesn’t comprise spandex alone…

And lastly, as we gear up for a rainy Cape Town winter, this is how I’d add a colour pop to a comfortable weekend look…
